It’s an exciting time for Happy Ears at the moment, here’s a summary of most of our current work
During the summer months we piloted a Music and Art therapy summer camp for children on the autistic spectrum. We worked with art therapist Karen Mcgeady at the Eric Lidell centre in Morningside. We are pleased to announce that The Edinburgh Art Therapy Centre is again running a half term class with Happy Ears on 17th October…more information on this soon…
Happy Ears has been booked to run a series of sessions at The Yard Scotland, Each session has a theme, there is a 3-8 group and an 8-12 group…
Our groups at Out of the Blue during the summer were such a success we are running a special half term session at 10 AM 17th October. I will reveal the theme nearer the time, watch this space…
The Saturday dads group continues, 10 AM at The Calton Centre, more information on this site.
Happy Ears continues at Kaimes school every Thursday. Some musical projects from previous school years are available to listen to at the school website.
We are appearing at The Big Day Out on Saturday 19th October performing a 25 minute set of fully interactive children’s songs.
I also teach a number of one to one sessions in Ukulele and Guitar. Along with continuing work for Autism initiatives at the Resource Centre in Craigmillar.
