Adventures in Greenock

What a brilliant day in Greenock! Happy Ears joined the Story pages arts project in collaboration with Starcatchers at the Glenbrae Nusery, Whinhill, to create a fully interactive musical performance piece based on Michael Rosen’s “The Bear in a cave” for 2-4 year olds. Adventurers Geraldine, Hannah (pictured) and honorary adventurer Catherine (who took this picture) facilitated some really creative and fun musical play.

We had a brilliant response from the kids and excellent hospitality from the staff. Also had a break and went to look at the new Beacon Arts Centre down on the river, Mrs Happy Ears (who happens to be an architect) tells me it’s meant to look like an old dock warehouse. Local opinion of the building appears to be varied…Image
